Miranda R. Richard

Miranda 400Attorney Richard began her legal career in January of 2007 with the Hendricks County Prosecutor’s Office, where she was a Deputy Prosecutor until 2012. During that time, she prosecuted thousands of cases, such as armed robbery and burglary. Attorney Miranda Richard also spent time volunteering at the Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic preparing wills, power of attorneys, and healthcare directives for low-income individuals. She was recognized as an Outstanding Volunteer with the Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic in November of 2012.

Attorney Richard joined Dillman Law Group in March of 2013, focusing on drafting wills, power of attorneys, healthcare directives and various other estate planning documents, as well as handling Medicaid applications and Medicaid appeals. Over time, she put her experience in criminal litigation to work on behalf of the firm’s clients, handling various litigation cases, including probate and personal injury litigation. Ms. Richard also handles guardianships and other cases involving incapacitated children and adults, as well as cases involving mental health issues.

In January of 2018 Attorney Miranda Richard became Partner at Dillman Law Group. By early 2017 Attorney Richard’s practice in Medicaid Planning, applications, and appeals allowed her to stand out among other Elder Law Attorneys. Attorney Richard’s knowledge and asset preservation tactics create an invaluable experience for her clients during an incredibly stressful time in their lives. Qualifications

Ms. Richard graduated from Indiana University – Indianapolis with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 2003.  She obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from Indiana University – Indianapolis in 2006. While attending law school, she was a member of the Indiana Law Review and served as its Note Development Editor.

Ms. Richard lives in Little Flower with her husband, Jeff, son, Max, and their cats: Freyja, and Marmalade. She enjoys gardening, hiking, camping, and cooking, and volunteers with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful.
